When we started wedding planning, we sat down and tried to think about what we wanted our special day to look and feel like. We wanted it to be easy, seamless, elegant and most importantly FUN! We chose the Emma hotel because of exactly just that. It embodied an elegant, romantic, rustic vibe that we were so craving. 

Joel and I fell in love with the space. We really wanted to play up the court yard as it was one of our favorite spots in the hotel and bring the outdoor vibe indoors as well. We stuck to eucalyptus, olive branches and minimal white flowers for decorations and long wooden farm tables matched with gold chiavari chairs to pull it all together. We used string lights inside and loads and loads of lit candles which set a very romantic atmosphere. 

Lastly, we wanted our wedding to be non traditional and fun!  Most importantly we wanted our guests to not have to travel outside of the Pearl Brewery so we had our ceremony, dinner and after party all at the hotel eliminating the need for guest transportation. The idea of splitting it up into 3 parts came to Joel and I while planning. Most of our guests are young couples who love a good dj, so we flew one in and turned one of the rooms into a party room... stage, uplighting and all! Our guests really got to let loose and enjoy good music, awesome drinks and an outdoor patio. We had the time of our lives and could not have envisioned a better wedding to match our style.
